About Us

The Truemper Family had a vision and now it has become a reality. To witness a child who is suffering in their day to day life come aboard A Wish to Fish and catch their first fish, enjoy the great outdoors at sea, learn about our ocean and sea life, and be encouraged by adults who care about them, is truly a day to remember for us, as well as them.  
 
Todd Truemper began taking 12th grade boys from his Sunday school class fishing as a way to create a mentoring environment.  When he saw the positive outcome of the time he and other adults spent with them and the way they enjoyed being out on the boat, he couldn’t shake the vision of doing this for other children in the community.
 
Todd and Linda Truemper worked hard for many years creating what is now A Wish to Fish, Inc.   Please join in on our vision to make a difference in a child’s life one day at a time.
